Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.
Presentation
Designed to push the limits of downwind SUP, the Escape also excels in wingfoil thanks to its smooth glide and ultra-easy takeoff. Its elongated shape maximizes lift and reduces drag, allowing you to take off earlier and fly farther.
Aerodynamic and stable in flight, it remains accessible both paddling and winging, even for heavier riders or in light winds. Available in three sizes (110L to 135L), it is suited for riders from beginner to expert seeking performance or new sensations in downwind foiling.
Escape vs. Escape Pro
The Escape and Escape Pro share a similar design, but each model is optimized for specific conditions.
Escape: Slightly wider and shorter, offering better acceleration and increased stability. This design makes it ideal for wind swell, short period waves, or choppy seas where quick acceleration and stability are essential. However, its top speed is somewhat limited, as its shape prioritizes comfort and responsiveness in more chaotic waves.
Escape Pro: Slightly longer and narrower, making it more agile and capable of reaching higher top speeds. Its design is especially suited for ground swell and long-period waves, where the board can unleash its full speed potential while remaining stable at high velocity. It offers a bit less stability than the Escape but compensates by maintaining consistent speed in longer, smoother waves.
In summary: The Escape excels in short, choppy waves where responsiveness and stability matter most, while the Escape Pro shines in longer, smoother waves, delivering optimal performance at high speeds.

Molded carbon US boxes
Made from pre-preg carbon and molded under high pressure and high temperature, these boxes outperform traditional injected-plastic models.
Result: no deformation, immediate responsiveness, and optimal performance for pumping, carving, and maneuvers.
Extended carbon boxes with double opening
Thanks to their double rail opening, setup is fast: simply loosen the screws, slide the foil, and tighten. Less time mounting, more time on the water!
These rigid boxes maximize your feel and control. They make the whole setup more reactive, giving the sensation of using a smaller front wing. Become one with your foil and experience boosted performance!
Shape
Volume is carefully distributed around the center of gravity, improving stability when stationary. This balanced distribution also allowed us to refine the stance area for better control and increased stability while riding.
The V-shaped hull plays a key role in the board’s performance: it promotes smooth glide, progressive and fast takeoff, and efficient water release. It also provides a slight natural rebound effect that absorbs impacts—even at high speed—offering more comfort and forgiveness during landings.
Thanks to this hull combined with its extended shape, the Escape guarantees optimal takeoff regardless of water conditions.
