Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

Designed first and foremost for Parawing, the Slide Hollow features the proven shape of the Slide combined with a next-generation Hollow construction. It also excels in SUP Foil and Wing Foil, delivering an entirely new riding experience thanks to its exceptionally low weight.
Thanks to its hollow internal structure, the Slide Hollow is up to 30% lighter than a traditional carbon sandwich construction. Weighing just 3.8 kg for the 70 L, 4.0 kg for the 80 L, 4.2 kg for the 90 L, and 4.4 kg for the 100 L (including EVA pad), it sets a new benchmark for weight-to-volume ratio.*
This dramatic weight reduction completely transforms the riding experience. Every input feels more direct, every pump more efficient, and every turn more precise. The connection with the foil is immediate, resulting in a more responsive, intuitive and lively ride.
Like the original Slide, it features a forward volume distribution. Compared to the Ultra Glide or the Glide Midlength, this design reduces nose dives and makes pumping before take-off easier and more forgiving.
Its shape delivers outstanding stability while maintaining exceptional glide. Take-offs are quick and effortless, acceleration is smooth and natural, and speed carries remarkably well whether riding in Parawing, Wing Foil, or SUP Foil.
The Hollow construction consists of two prepreg carbon sandwich shells assembled around a high-density foam internal structure. This architecture maximises stiffness while significantly reducing the amount of material used, resulting in a board that is incredibly light, rigid and durable.
Like the entire Takoon range, it features a moulded prepreg carbon US box with dual openings, ensuring optimal load transfer and precise foil positioning.
The Slide Hollow is available in 4 sizes, from 5'9 (70 L) to 6'6 (100 L). Every board comes with a full EVA pad, footstrap inserts and a premium day bag.
Choosing the right volume
- Experienced riders: choose a volume close to your body weight.
- Intermediate riders: choose approximately +15 L above your body weight.
- Beginner riders: we recommend +20 to +25 L for greater stability and easier take-offs.
