Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

The Wing VX Pro V2 is delivered without handles, giving you the freedom to customize your setup.
One of the biggest advantages? If you’re already a customer of the brand, you can reuse your existing handles or boom without having to buy a new set. Our mounting system is compatible with all these handle types and allows for a quick swap in under two minutes. An M6 key, included in your wing bag, will let you make these adjustments easily.
The different options:
Soft textile handles: An excellent balance between flexibility and stiffness. Perfect for waves and strong conditions, they absorb gusts and reduce impacts with the board. Also ideal for riders prone to tendinitis.
Full carbon rigid handles: Provide ultra-precise control during maneuvers and jumps. They are lightweight, less bulky than a boom, and reduce the risk of impact with the board. Perfect for freestyle and freerace.
Rigid front handle + soft rear handle: A very popular setup for freeride and waves, combining precision and comfort. Definitely worth trying!
Full carbon Boom V2: Offers intuitive hand placement and increased rigidity in the center strut. Ideal for freestyle, racing, or for those looking for a windsurf-like feel.

Shape
The major difference between wings built with UPE Project 85 and traditional Dacron wings lies in the leading edge thickness. Reduced by approximately 5% to 10% depending on the section, the VX Pro delivers improved efficiency thanks to reduced drag and increased power. This thinner leading edge is made possible by the use of UPE Project 85 technical fabric from Dimension-Polyant.
This extremely rigid material can handle high inflation pressures, resulting in significantly greater stiffness than a Dacron leading edge of the same diameter.
UPE Project 85
This composite combines aramid fibers with an 85 g/m² UPE layer and a protective PET film. Its exceptional rigidity allows the diameter of the struts to be reduced by 5% to 10% depending on the section, resulting in less material used and a significant overall weight saving.
Thin Wingtips
Canopy
While the previous edition combined 54 g and 86 g fabrics, this upgrade ensures even better shape retention and ultra-consistent performance, even after prolonged use.
Materials
For the canopy, we use a Heavy Double Ripstop 85 g fabric that guarantees optimal profile stability and long-lasting performance.
The bladders are made from thick 80-micron TPU for increased durability. The struts and all accessories are fully heat-welded to withstand high pressures and repeated stress.
Interchangeable Handles
Thanks to our new interchangeable system, you can now customize your wing according to your preferences or your session’s focus.
Central Strut Design
Still featuring an S-shape, it minimizes drag while improving ergonomics. With this design, the rear handle sits further back, allowing for a more natural sheeting position without excessive or uncomfortable bending of the rear arm.
Tension Spreader
This reinforcement better distributes canopy and trailing-edge tensions, ensuring optimal performance and increased wing longevity.

One Pump system
The VX Pro can be inflated to relatively high pressure thanks to the use of UPE Project 85 material from Dimension-Polyant. We recommend a maximum inflation of 10 PSI. However, you can adjust the pressure according to your preference. Lowering the pressure will make the VX Pro slightly more flexible, more forgiving in gusts, and more comfortable, while still remaining stiffer than a “classic” Dacron wing.
