Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

We have also upgraded the construction: the V4 Pro now features a new 65 g/m² quadruple ripstop canopy, replacing the 54 g/m² triple ripstop used on the V3 Pro. The Wing V4 Pro comes with a bag whose size can be adjusted if you choose the Boom V2 option, meaning you won’t need to purchase two separate bags.
It is delivered without handles, allowing you to customize your setup according to your preferences. Handles, the Boom V2, and the leash are available as optional accessories.
Regarding the leash, we recommend the following sizes:
- 140 cm: for V4 Pro Wings from 3 m to 5 m
- 150 cm: for V4 Pro Wings from 5.5 m to 6 m
Our leading edge struts, designed with a very slim profile, require optimal pressure to ensure peak performance. Their design improves aerodynamics, enhances upwind ability, and reduces overall wing weight.
For larger sizes (6 m and 6.5 m), the recommended pressure is 9 PSI. For other sizes, it is 10 PSI. You may adjust the pressure 1 to 2 PSI lower depending on conditions and your desired level of flex.

The Wing V4 Pro is delivered without handles, giving you the freedom to customize your setup.
One of the biggest advantages? If you’re already a customer of the brand, you can reuse your existing handles or boom without having to buy a new set. Our mounting system is compatible with all these handle types and allows a quick swap in under two minutes. An M6 key, included in your wing bag, will let you make these adjustments easily.
The different options:
Soft textile handles: An excellent balance between flexibility and stiffness. Perfect for waves and strong conditions, they absorb gusts and reduce impacts with the board. Also ideal for riders prone to tendinitis.
Full carbon rigid handles: Provide ultra-precise control during maneuvers and jumps. They are lightweight, less bulky than a boom, and reduce the risk of impact with the board. Perfect for freestyle and freerace.
Rigid front handle + soft rear handle: A very popular setup for freeride and waves, combining precision and comfort. Definitely worth trying!
Full carbon Boom V2: Offers intuitive hand placement and increased rigidity in the center strut. Ideal for freestyle, racing, or for those looking for a windsurf-like feel.

New inflation valve
This new valve provides more accurate pressure readings and more controlled inflation. If you own a pump for previous Takoon valves, no worries — an adapter for the new valve is included with the wing.
One Pump system
The 80-micron TPU bladders are highly durable, and all struts and accessories are heat-welded to withstand high pressures.
Two independent bladders (leading edge and strut) inflate simultaneously, and the One Pump clip separates the airflow at the end of inflation, ensuring double safety and easy replacement if needed.
Kevlar reinforcements
Lightweight and ultra-durable, Kevlar preserves performance while minimizing weight impact.
Freefly handle
Under the handle, on the leading edge, a neoprene patch enhances comfort in surf. Soft to the touch, it prevents snags and irritation on your fingers during wing handling, especially in freefly.
